Calderflower’s managing director, Lara Calder, will be speaking at the ACCPA National Conference on the 26th of October, at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

This abstract topic is about the benefits of co-living and shared communities.

Co-housing is a recognised housing typology that older people are starting to engage with as a viable accommodation type for like-minded ageing communities with common interests. These will be communities that look out for each other and help, care, support and socialise with one another. The expectation is that this type of ‘care of self and others’ will take pressure off formalised care providers.
