Lara is a Registered Architect, Registered Design Practitioner, the managing director and nominated Architect of Calder Flower Architects in Sydney. Dealing with the challenges of a commercial practice and striving for quality in the built environment means having to adapt to the changes in society, the economy, innovation, and sustainable technologies with a commercial perspective. Lara does this by seeking out opportunities to extend thinking and test ideas. As an office, we participate in competitions and explore new technologies and software to remain at the forefront of innovative thinking and adaptive systems. Lara and the Calderflower team share a genuine passion for providing design excellence in the Seniors Living and Community Housing sectors. Good Architecture should serve a practical purpose but that can ultimately make the mundane special and the special unique

Bradley is a senior member of the Calderflower team and has more than 25 years of architectural experience across a diverse range of small to large scale residential projects both in Australia and overseas. He is particularly experienced at delivering documentation for complex and large building projects, utilising his skills in Building Information Modeling and his years of experience in the construction industry. He possesses all-round architectural skills enabling him to run projects from the conceptual stage through to completion and has a keen interest in and understanding of sustainable architecture as well as prefabricated and off- site construction techniques. To compliment his work in seniors living, Bradley has decades of experience in residential design and documentation ranging from individual terrace buildings & townhouses to large scale multi residential buildings.

Polly is an associate and project architect at Calderflower, and has a significant wealth of knowledge and experience in the aged care sector. She strongly believes in the creation of purposeful architecture that benefits the users that experience it on a daily basis and has a positive impact on society. Prior to joining Calder Flower, Polly worked as a heritage architect, and on high-end residential projects across Sydney. Polly is a great collaborator and an excellent communicator, with a passion for exceptional design and planning, with a particular focus on sustainability and loves a creative challenge. Her experience at Calderflower has seen her involved on numerous large scale aged care projects, SDA housing and retirement living.

Martin has spent more than 40 years working as an Architect in New Zealand, Japan and Australia. His diverse career has seen him working on a variety of residential typologies with a particular interest in how these buildings respond to their context. Martin has expertise in the science of building fabric, and its implications for sustainability. For the last fifteen years Martin has worked on Australian residential settings for the community’s vulnerable – aged living, group homes, community housing – which has heightened his ability to deliver universal design solutions.

Manu is a registered architect with extensive experience leading and delivering complex projects across all stages - from concept to completion. She specialises in residential, education, and hospitality projects, all of which she attends to with great attention to detail. Manu manages the full scope of architectural services within the team, leading the development and completion of projects. Manu can effectively communicate in written, verbal and drawn form to successfully lead teams of varying sizes and actively lead stakeholder engagement, coordinate large consultants teams and manage client groups and other stakeholders. She has successfully coordinated the approval processes and development applications for a range of projects, including direct engagement with authorities. With a keen interest in sustainability in architecture, and sustainability initiatives and innovations Manu is actively engaged in the development of our profession: as design tutor in UNSW's Bachelor of Architecture degree, and as a current practice collaborator with a Master of Architecture Studio at the University of Sydney and UTS. Manu is new to Calderflower, and brings a fresh design perspective and design excellence.

Perry is particularly interested to designing accessible, sustainable, and affordable spaces in the aged care sector. With a diverse portfolio that includes social housing, small residential projects, and residential care facilities. His expertise in 3D digital visualizations and graphics significantly enhances the quality and appeal of his projects. Driven by passion and a keen eye for both functionality and aesthetics, Perry strives to create spaces and buildings that are not only practical but also visually pleasing. Perry contributed to the NSW Seniors Housing Design Guide by providing detailed diagrams and graphics, demonstrating his commitment to excellence and innovation in graphic design.

Benjamin is a dedicated professional with 2 decades of extensive experience creating beautiful architectural designs whist focuses on achieving a practical buildability to all projects. He is accomplished through his passionate approach, innovative design and attention to detail on a wide range of national and international projects with extensive experience in age care, senior living, residential and hotel projects. Benjamin is multi-disciplinary throughout many disciplines of architecture (including urban planning, landscape and construction) and facilitates his skills over effective project management as well. He believes in effective communication and delivering on time for the best outcome for the client. Most recently, he has worked on Anglicare Glenhaven Care Hub, NDIS Apartments in Pendle Hill, Senior Living Townhouses in Wahroonga and Hammond Care Group.
