The brief from Uniting Care Ageing was to provide a 100 bed care facility that would be a standout in the areas of care, quality of facilities and sustainable design.

The facility is divided into five community households and comprises of low care, high care and respite care to allow like-minded residents to be housed together and improve the functionality of the facility. To foster independence and a sense of ‘home’ for residents, the single bedrooms all have their own ensuite as well as lounges, dining rooms, activity spaces and outdoor areas for each community.
