Rooty Hill Residential Gardens

We were tasked to extend an existing Residential Care Home for the Residential Gardens for Spanish Speaking and Frail Aged Limited. The extension was required to hold 22 beds and accessibility was key for our client.

Completed in 2017, the extension included the design of a new entrance and front of house. When designing the extension, we paid particular consideration to the existing space and balancing the new with the old. The key feature is the double ceiling height atrium that provides and spacious, airy and light filled space for residents with accessible ramp access from the lower to the upper floor for the ease of movement.
