*Finalist UDIA 2014 Awards for Excellence NSW Senior’s Aged Care Living

We were tasked to create a spacious and functional Residential Care Facility on a compact site on the Princess Highway in Sutherland. The facility has 144 beds over two floors of accommodation and includes a basement car park for visitors and staff. There are five households of various care levels, including an 18 bed dementia specific unit.

Although compact in design, the building offers generously sized bedrooms, lounge and dining areas that flow throughout the building for ultimate convenience. The gently sloping rectilinear site features covered outdoor areas and courtyards. Completed in 2013, this project was finished ahead of schedule and on budget.
