The building form responds to the sloping site by stepping down the slope to reduce bulk and scale. It also incorporates large setbacks to neighbouring properties (15m) and uses articulated forms and a varied palette of building materials to deal with building character. The parking has been located on-grade to reduce the cost of excavation and is located to minimise impact on the neighbouring properties.
